Planes:
BWI Airport
If you’re traveling by plane, you’ll want to fly into BWI Airport. It’s the closest airport to Baltimore and about 10 miles south of the city.
Trains:
Penn Station (Baltimore)
If you’re traveling to Baltimore by train you’ll want to book Penn Station (Baltimore) as your destination. Not to be confused with Penn Station (NYC). Penn Station (Baltimore) is located just north of the downtown area in the Mount Vernon/Station North neighborhoods.
Automobiles:
Baltimore is about 1 hour north of Washington, D.C., about 2 hours south of Philadelphia, and about 4 hours south of New York City. We’re talking no traffic of course!
